a whole week of elephant & piggie!!!

Do your students go crazy over the popular Elephant & Piggie series by Mo Willems?! I've been wanting to create some useful resources for a LONG time, because when kids love it, you KNOW you need to capitalize on that in the classroom! And it doesn't hurt that I love the series just as much!! So I've put together an entire WEEK of Elephant and Piggie NO PREP/LOW PREP resources and activities that you can use in the K-2 classroom! Let's take a closer look at what's included...

I've included 5 days worth of No Prep activities for 5 different Elephant and Piggie Books. Each day has activities for Reading, Writing, Word Work, Math, and Science/Soc Studies. Because this set was created with a Substitute in mind, I've included printable directions with the activities so that a teacher could, at the last moment, print and circle which activities they want their Sub to complete. All of my No Prep Sub Plans include printable directions, but I've done something NEW with this particular set. I've also included a Powerpoint file with editable directions. That way a teacher can have access to all the activities for the whole week, while also being able to adapt/change the directions to fit their needs. Just cut and paste the directions into your own lesson plans or sub plans and you're done!  I've also included two adorable craftivities. The one pictured below can be found in DAY 2 and is used during science. Students will learn about elephants from a nonfiction text. 

This set is convenient too, if you're a classroom teacher just wanting a break from planning #allthethings. You don't have to let your sub have all the fun ;) What I love about this set is that you can use the five days however you like. You can sprinkle them throughout the year, here and there.
