It's the most wonderful time of the yearrrr.... And today I'm sharing some of my absolute FAVORITE activities for the holidays!! Elfie Selfie Holiday Cheer PackHelp your students spread some holiday cheer this season! As teachers, we are always looking for ways to increase kindness and help our students become the best version of themselves. This Holiday Cheer Pack seeks to help you achieve this during the holiday season in a FUN and MEANINGFUL way! Pair this set with your favorite holiday and elf read alouds! Holiday Cheer Cards -> Use them all Season! Can be used for Thank You Cards, Letters, Compliment Cards, Notes home to parents, etc. Holiday CHEER Anchor Chart printables! Teach one letter a day and have your students practice each one! Examples included: C -> Compliment three people today, H -> Help someone around you, E -> Eat with someone new Elfie Selfie Photo Props are included along with Reward Tags that have cute "elf themed" sayings to hand out to your students ALL season long! Holiday Book Countdown!!When you can't narrow your favorite holiday books down, READ THEM ALL!!! I have so many holiday favorites I decided to make this writing response booklet so students could respond to each one! This Countdown to Christmas Literacy Booklet fits the Target Blank Books or can be stapled on its own. Two Book Options are included -> Countdown to Winter Break and Countdown to Christmas Break. I've included an editable powerpoint display to use for each day, editable slides, and a list of some of my favorite holiday books. Winter Themed Playdough & Literacy Sets!Do you want to build a snowmannnnn.... This DIY Snowman Kit is so FUN! Let your students have fun this Winter building their own snowmen with playdoh! Each student can build their own snowman, write about their snowman, complete a "how to" writing, or write an acrostic poem! This activity set makes for a fun addition to your Christmas or Winter activities! And my newest set, The Great Gingerbread Escape! It's the perfect follow up activity for any of the Gingerbread Stories you read together in class! Your students will "bake" their own specialty flavor of Gingerbread Cookie (depending on the "flavor" play dough they receive. After baking, students will then plot their escape plan (3 template options included). Finally, students will write their plan on the writing template provided (3 lined options). Christmas Class BooksI absolutely LOVE reading ALL the Christmas stories with my students and these Class Book templates are my FAVORITE way to help build our CLASSROOM COMMUNITY!!! Class Books are the perfect addition to your classroom library. After reading the selected book, students all fill out the SAME response page. The teacher will collect the pages and tape or glue them into the Target blank books (from Target dollar spot). Add them to a special bin in your library and let your students read them to learn more about their classmates!! This set includes 8 of my favorite Holiday Read Alouds! Check it out HERE to see all the titles included!! Winter Math CraftSimple and festive, but best of all -> differentiated! Students can solve and color according to the code. There are 12 options included for addition and subtraction. And seriously, how cute is that cup of whipped goodness the penguin is holding! This set is a great companion piece if you're studying penguins this winter or if you like to read Penguin's Christmas Wish or Tacky's Christmas. Christmas Math RiddlesThis fun Holiday Riddle booklet comes with 5 different jokes & riddles for Kinder, 1st, and 2nd grade!! You can add snickers candy to it for some extra holiday pizazz!
