It's been quite a while since I organized my craft bins. So much so, that I'm nervous to show you the BEFORE pics! I love the false sense of security that my large storage bins provide, neatly tucked into my IKEA shelves. But let's be real... the second you pull them out, YIKES!! My large bins were a hot mess from too many ziplock bags filled with #allthethings. When making craft projects or searching for particular items, I would just get frustrated and pull everything out, creating an even bigger mess! Don't believe me, just check out my bins below. Embarrassing right?? When Deflecto contacted me about reviewing their organization bins and caddies, I couldn't say no! I mean, you know how I feel about bins and caddies!!! This was a project that was a LONG TIME COMING! I'm excited to show you all the ways I got organized and share some of my favorite items from the Deflecto line! The rotating caddy is a dream! I used it to store some items that I like to have handy while working at my desk. It's especially nice to have lids for storing things like a million googly eyes and poms! And let's be honest here, it's just GORGEOUS to look at! I added all my washi tape, string, and glitter to this three drawer compartment. I love that all of the Deflecto products are transparent, so you can see what's inside! This of course motivated me to color code for a pleasing aesthetic. It's also wildly inspiring to sit down and create things when all my craft supplies are organized and visible! It's just so clean and simple. I love it!! I know some of you will be asking about that third drawer! Let me just tell you that mini salt & pepper shakers are perfect for storing glitter!! You don't have to unscrew any tops and spill glitter all over and they provide just the right amount of "sprinkle." These Deflecto storage caddies are a DREAM!! Within the caddy, there are 3 compartments all of which can be taken out and used separately when needed. This proved especially amazing for storing my velcro dots!! If you assemble a lot of teaching resources and activities for your students that require velcro dots, you know that you need two rolls while attaching (hook and loop). What's great about this storage option is that I can place both rolls inside the bin and pull them out to use without the rolls moving around or unrolling. The top holds them in place and makes for easy access! This caddy is just so versatile! The actual caddy itself can be stacked on more caddies (and interlocked) so you can literally create a tower of #allthethings! If you end up creating a large one, Deflecto also has rollers you can attach to the bottom to make the whole unit portable. Obsessed, why yes I am. I started with two caddies. I'm definitely getting more!! I borrowed this image from Deflecto so you could see just how tall they stack! The last project in my craft overhaul involved organizing all my markers and colored pencils, my teacher essentials! I'm certainly no wizard with calligraphy or hand lettering, I just have the basics. Washable markers, colored pencils, and Mr. Sketch PLUS a cute "teacher essentials" label of course! This set turned out so pretty, I don't even want to put the cover on it! However, you have to check it out with the cover on too, because as soon as I did, I got the greatest idea! Wouldn't this portable marker accordion be awesome as a SUPER STUDENT reward or a special treat at your VIP table!!! Or any of you with your own kiddos/artists at home, this little organizer is the best way to store art supplies! My son LOVES to draw and he is going to go crazy when I show him this!! I had to make a label for it as well! You can grab both of these labels FOR FREE in my TpT store --> MARKER CADDY LABELS FREEBIE If you're interested in learning more about any of these featured items from Deflecto, you can find them on Amazon!
